RIBEIRO’S ORIGIN

The Meín estate appears in the history books of Galicia as one of the first population settlements, born in the shadow of the Monastery of San Clodio, and closely linked to the origin of viticulture in the Ribeiro region in the eleventh and twelfth centuries. So right there, in Viña Meín and San Clodio, Ribeiro wine was born.

In the heart of the Avia Valley, and barely touching the one and a half hectares of a very unique vineyard arranged in socalcos(terraces), the Emilio Rojo strains grow.

An ancestral vineyard filled with a history linked to the Monastery of San Clodio. Genesis of a wine marked by the character of the environment, and particularly by that of its producer: the colleiteiro, Emilio Rojo.
